If you intend on trying to bring an RV down here, walk down first, its a long ways to walk to request a tow truck if you fail in either getting down, or make it out again, by walking it you will know if or not you can do it or not. Without a 4X4 you have little to no chance at all.
Fish Species:
Again we wish to reiterate the negligence of the BC Goverment that no longer cares about if or not fish stocks are surviving for future generations, the last inventory done on this lake was 1975, prior to that one was done in 1970 since then making sure our fish stocks survive is no longer a priority. That makes it close to 50 years ago it mattered enough to do it 2X but since then nothing.
Fish species found at that time were, Redside Shiner, Lake Chub, Coarse or non-game fish, and Cutthroat Trout. Based on what we learned from other lakes its likely they are referring to sqawfish that today have been renamed to Northern Pikeminnow.

Directions:
Is one of two gorgeous little lakes just west of Smithers turn onto Kitseguecla Road for approximately 14K and you will see signboards, first to Taltzen Lake and beyond about 3K to Kitseguecla Lake. We will include a google pin map to locate it. This is one of the nicest lakes close to Smithers that seems to be most overlooked. Great for a group of families to camp together.
