Location: Klinger Lake is a lake located just 14 km from Houston, there is a wide trail that allows for canoes and other small boats to be carried down to the lake. Go west 2km from Houston on Highway 16 to the Morice River forest road headed south. Drive 2.5km and turn right. Turn right again after 3km on the Telkwa Forest Service road. You’ll see a turnout at 4.3km. The trail follows a fence line.
Primarily this is a stocked lake with Rainbow and Brook Trout each year the last time it was stocked was June 2020 based on the date of this posting. I am pretty sure they will continue to do so.
This lake has been stocked with both Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout since 1983
