Stolen Rights – The End of Chinook Salmon Fishing for non aboriginal Canadians.

Stolen Rights – The End of Chinook Salmon Fishing for non aboriginal Canadians.

Less than a half dozen years ago, the citizens of BC could fish for “spring salmon” also known as Chinook or king salmon. A few years ago someone inside the DFO leaked a story about how they were going to bring a permanent end to Canadian citizens right to fish for Chinook salmon. The same Liberal Goverment today is tabling legislation to silence anyone who dares to speak about issues they determine as off limits.

It turns out the rumour must be true, this year is the first year the annual advisory for conserving Chinook salmon has ended. It has been replaced by a permanent “Never No More Chinook Fishing” the Chinook salmon now are deemed to be only Commercial so Jimmy Paterson fleet will be able to own the Chinook to supply his grocery chains and sell to international buyers. Unless of course you are First nations, in that case there is no restrictions at all, even our DFO are doing the bended knee in the name of buying votes and reconciliation.
