Politics not science is robbing Canadians of their right to catch Chinook Salmon

Be aware, that the (DFO) Department of Fisheries and Oceans are in cahoots with SkeenaWild, Wild Salmon Center, removing non aboriginal rights to fish Chinook salmon. Be careful in regards to who you support or believe. Let this be a warning to all citizens, the BC Goverment was complicit in closing Meziadin Lake Park, the excuse was grizzly bears, just as it was at Babine River, despite the bears being normal there for almost every year the parks existed. The BC Goverment did not want the public to witness that they were closing their eyes to commercial seine fishing in Meziadin Lake. that is prohibited under BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations. But wait, its not the first instance of what might become normal, many reports were that using nets to catch trout and char were occurring in the Burns Lake area as well, again the BC Goverment closed its eyes because it was radical aboriginals who were doing it.

The truth is in the numbers, numbers prove to us what the state of our Chinook Salmon are, politics allows rich grocery chains to buy OUR Chinook salmon, and give quotas that are race based, as opposed to equality for all Canadians.

So here is the low down in numbers.

While the numbers are still bad in comparison to the good years 80’s to 2000’s, we fished through the bad years 1960’s and 1970’s and saw a massive recovery without terminating non aboriginal rights to fish Chinook.

So where does that leave the tax paying Canadians who used to have the right to catch Chinook?

We have been relegated to sit on the sidelines and watch the DFO and our federal and provincial governments, do nothing while the resource goes from bad to extinction. Then watch how these same governments will offer aboriginals compensation that you and I will have to pay for, as we are charged with the guilt of colonialism and brought about this extinction.

Meanwhile the commercial right to fish, means the right to sell the fish to China, to billionaires that run food chains, to dog food companies, feed it to the crows, as there is no restrictions on what aboriginals can do with OUR Chinook salmon. Its almost as if there is a conspiracy by our courts to rob Canadians of their rights, while they retire in luxury, maybe even buy a cottage in the Bahamas, all on OUR hard earned wages, converted to TAXES. Its not even illegal for the same supreme court justices to have shares in the companies that buy and resell those same Chinook salmon. No wonder our elected goverment love their lucrative pension plans, and refuse to appeal these insane judgments.

The definition of insanity is electing the same people that did this to us, over and over again expecting that things will get better. By the way, its time we elected all judges, right now they answer to nobody.
