Morin Lake

Morin Lake is a gorgeous little lake that was created by a local dutch logging contractor, but before I go on about this lake, I need to share some history with you. It was in the 70’s when I first found this little but stunning lake in a surreal setting surrounded by big evergreens. When I got back I talked to a logging crew foreman who told me Kronemeyer Logging opened up that location by putting a road in, and they initially used it as a camp for logging operations. While there they really did a nice job of turning it into a camping site, many thanks goes to Dick Kronemeyer for creating this little gem that we have enjoyed for so many years. In more recent years BC Forest Service added camping facilities to this lake, nice job everyone.
